I am 17 years on the job and only called in sick for 2 days and I was phonecalled to tell me to bring a Dr's excuse. I rarely make mistakes and always in uniform, keep my equipment better than anyone else. My boss always finds time to write co-workers for negative tiny stuff but when he makes mistakes manager says that is ok because of his hard work which he doesn't even help us. The market shows that I am 15k underpaid and I mentioned to my general manager and he said that our company pays great to us, but I know he is lying. A co worker showed me his paycheck and I saw he makes almost $2 more than me and doesn't even do more than me, so I questioned my company and I was told that I could be suspended or even terminated for knowing that info.

I have been told several times that my job preformance was great, and that I was doing a good job. But that is it. My boss has stated three times now that he had to give me a review, but he did not have the time to write it up. I was told that I should be happy he is at least thinking about it since he has been here 4 years and has had no review. (But he did receive a raise.)

Meanwhile, the company is going through a spending cutback and I was told today that I would have to wait again. This company does not pay retropay/ back pay. I'm extremely discouraged and very upset.

A co-worker who was put on probation was given an increase; I can't even get the time of day. I have severely cut back on the hours that I have been putting in- I don't earn overtime and will not get any benefit from this. Now the boss wonders why I'm pissed…..

Unfortunately I see the payroll and can tell that the spend freeze did not affect 5 people who were given raises on the last payroll.
I was told that my review/raise would be completed by January, then it moved to May 15th. Now it is on hold indefinately. If I am really that bad of an employee, then why lie about my preformance.
