I have a few questions about my rights as an employee in Ohio.

#1 My boss REFUSES to let us call off when we are sick. Whether this be puking, coughing, sneezing it doesn't matter. We HAVE to come in, or it is implied that there will be consequences. We can be contagious, but as long as we come to work, the only problem with that is that we feel like crap. Is it illegal to have sick employees at the work place?

#2 Are there laws on how often employees are to receive evaluation and raises? Its been two years or more for every employee at my work place since we got a review and/or raise. In our hand book, it stated the first 6 months, then every year after that. I have been there 3 1/2 years, and have gotten 2 reviews/raises. We are not going to receive back pay either. Which could be thousands for each of us.

#3 Harassment?? Today my coworker yelled at me at cussed at me due to something that was not completed the night before because I was there hours past when I was supposed to leave. According to her, despite my 2 and a half hours over time, the time spent to complete the job was insufficient. She cussed at me, and bad talked me to other employees. I also received the cold shoulder all day because I was ill, and TRIED to call off. It made it a very unpleasant, uncomfortable day at work.

I just need to know if there is reason to take action on these incidents, or if there is nothing i can do but find another job. I would like to file a complaint, but don't know what association to go to? If any one has any advice, or any links to legal sites for OHIO employment laws, i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance to any one who can help out. My job has become un bearable, and I don't want to just let it ruin my resume.

Thanks!!!
