Nothing. I get phone calls from recruiting agencies but no legit companies. I have gone down the come in and talk to up road. I still have the same crappy job and lost a day of vacation. I have great references and try to find a least one new job to apply for each day. But this is horrible. I can't get a review or raise even though I have been told that my work preformance is great from my boss. My co-worker is a joke, I have to supervies him even though he makes more than I do. And I have lost any ambition of wanting to do a good job. My boss takes all of the credit for my work.

Please tell me that a once confident and in demand employee is not now just gum on the bottom of someone'e shoe. I am a hard worker who wants to do a good job, but I do not want to keep getting taken advantage of.

Forward and good and useful ideas this direction. Thanks.

In the next cubicle to me, sits a very annoying and overweight female co-worker who talks too much. She's annoying to listen to, my patience has worn thin, and my boss seems to favor her to me. My problem is, a promotion is coming up, and both of us are going for it.

However, I have a bit of dirt on her. I overheard her on the phone with her doctor ordering drugs for a venerial disease. I accidentally replied to all on an email to my friend poking a bit of fun at her situation. My friend and I thought it was ironic someone would actually sleep with her since she's so fat. Anyway, it was only supposed to go to him, so I felt kind of bad that everyone saw it at first. However, I think my boss will now promote me since I am healthier and have stronger morals than her. Plus, she is so embarrassed now she just might quit and I'll get the promotion by default!

My question is, how do I really seal the deal with my boss? I need this promotion badly as I just bought a new BMW.

Fears about layoffs and corporate restructuring have left employees more attentive to what’s going on around them.
